Banqueting assistant: Catering Services

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Delivery of Food in a safe and orderly manner
• Compliance to food safety and health and safety requirements
• Perform waiter and bar tendering duties.
• Customer Service
• Perform cashier duties.
• Banqueting Duties

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge and understanding of menu, prices and specials
• Knowledge of venue setup and banqueting
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, compliance to HACCP standards and other relevant food, health, and safety requirements
• Knowledge of traffic laws
• Professional waiter/bartender skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 or equivalent (e.g. technical qualification)
• Driver’s license with PDP
• Normally 1-3 Years relevant and /or working experience as a delivery driver
• 1 – 3 years’ experience within the hospitality industry as waiter/barman
