POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

This position involves:

Capturing and reconciling multicurrency bank statements
Managing banking relationships and assisting with treasury functions
Processing direct deposits, credit card receipts, and foreign currency transactions
Managing debtor age analysis and follow up on outstanding balances
Processing invoices, credit notes, refunds, and journal transactions
Generating and maintaining proof of payment records
Handling foreign exchange transactions and cash allocations
Ensuring compliance with banking controls and financial procedures
Supporting investment and cash optimization strategies
Supporting month-end financial processes
Investigating and resolving debtor queries promptly

Skills & Experience:

3 to 5 years' experience in banking and debtor’s role
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience with multicurrency bank accounts and foreign exchange transactions
Strong numerical and analytical ability
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Treasury or cashflow management exposure (advantageous)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualification:

B. Com Accounting (or similar)
