SUMMARY:
Bank Administrator - Centurion

POSITION INFO:

(3 months contract/ going on permanent based on performance, etc.)

Responsibilities:

vManage bank access to ensure operational delivery of payments and segregation of duties.

vEnsure operational delivery of payments by managing loaders, verifiers and releasers.

vImplement best practice procedures on bank access management.

vVarious bank recons.

vAllocate bank transactions to sub ledgers for various bank accounts.

vPetty Cash management and allocations.

vInitiate bank account top ups.

vManage unidentified and unallocated so no balances over 60 days.

vRecord credit card transactions.

vImplement best practice procedures on credit card management.

vInitiate credit card top ups.

vFacilitation of foreign payments and management of the recovery thereof.

vManage creditor codes on the bank.

vImplement best practice for creditor codes and payment processing.

vFacilitate opening of bank accounts as per business requirements and ensuring collection and storage of required FICA required documentation.

vUnderstand PI Insurance requirements around payments and ensure implemented.

vBe back up Overheads Creditors Administrator which includes payment of suppliers and completion of overhead recons.

Requirements / Skills:

vBookkeeping experience.

vAT(SA) Qualification.

vMatric with Maths and Accountancy, not Maths Literacy.

vExcel – Vlookup and Pivot Tables.

vPrevious experience reporting into Senior Management.
