SUMMARY:
Our client in George is looking for 2 experienced and motivated Bakers to join their team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of quality baked goods while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation. Candidates must be passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Follow recipes and production requirements accurately.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment safely.
• Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or quality issues.
• Assist with preparing and organising daily production.
• Ensure products are prepared and completed within required timeframes.

• Previous experience as a Baker is essential.
• Relevant baking qualification or training will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.
• Good attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
• Good time-management skills.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
