My client is a well-renowned financial services provider situated in the North of Johannesburg and is actively looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join their high calibre team. This concern has made gigantic strides within the industry for well over five decades and has a cultural policy to generously reward their top performing employees in their respective fields. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development, maintenance, configuration, and enhancement of all aspects related to the department.

Duties:

Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements.
Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
Analyse existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data collection application engineers.
Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.

Qualifications:

A completed BSc in mathematics/Information systems/Statistics or similar field is essential
Any relevant industry certification in Business Intelligence

Experience:

A minimum of 4 – 5 years business intelligence experience is required
