Avionics Technician (Newly Qualified)
Location: Bonaero Park, Kempton Park
Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month
OverviewOur client, a well-established organisation within the aviation industry, is seeking a newly qualified Trade Tested Avionics Technician to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional aircraft maintenance environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on aircraft avionics systems.
Assist with the installation, testing and inspection of avionics equipment.
Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with aviation regulations and company procedures.
Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately.
Use technical manuals, wiring diagrams and maintenance instructions.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Work effectively within a team while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Maintenance Manager.
Minimum RequirementsTrade Tested Avionics Technician (essential).
Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Sound knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
Willingness to work overtime or shifts when operationally required.
