Our client a renowned fitment centre is looking for a hands on technically strong technician with solid experience in wheel fitment, balancing, alignment and suspension systems to join their growing workshop team.

Remuneration:
R 14 000 – R 20 000 Per month depending on experience - Benefits include Provident Fund

POSITION INFO:
Duties

• Reporting to the workshop foreman
• Wheel fitment and balancing
• Wheel alignments and suspension adjustments
• Suspension fitment, repairs, and component replacements
• Inspection and fault finding on suspension components
• Test driving vehicles where required
• Working accurately and efficiently to workshop standards
• Maintaining workshop equipment, tools, and cleanliness
• Assisting workshop operations where required

• Minimum 3 years wheel alignment and suspension experience
• Strong suspension, wheel fitment, and balancing knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Understanding of lifted suspension geometry advantageous
• Experience with 4x4 and aftermarket suspension systems advantageous
• Experience on Toyota platforms advantageous
• Mechanical qualification advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence essential
• Basic workshop computer literacy required
• Experience using alignment machine software advantageous
