Our client located in Dunkeld, Rosebank is looking for an experienced Vehicle Stripper & Assembler to join their team.

About the role:
They are looking for an experienced and reliable Vehicle Stripper & Assembler to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carefully dismantling and reassembling vehicle components during detailing, paint correction, and restoration processes. This role requires strong technical ability, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail to ensure every vehicle is restored to pristine condition.
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
- 2–3 years’ experience in vehicle stripping and assembling (panel beating, auto body repair, or similar environment).
- Solid understanding of vehicle body components and assembly processes.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems.
- Valid driver’s licence (Code 8).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Punctual, disciplined, and reliable work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Strip vehicle components (panels, trims, bumpers, lights, badges, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Reassemble vehicles to manufacturer specifications after detailing or restoration work.
- Ensure all parts are correctly fitted, aligned, and functioning properly.
- Inspect components for damage, wear, or corrosion and report findings to management.
- Handle luxury and high-end vehicles with care and professionalism.
- Maintain proper labelling and storage of removed parts.
- Assist with surface preparation for detailing, polishing, or painting.
- Ensure all tools, parts, and materials are kept organised and secure.
- Adhere to health, safety, and quality control standards at all times.
- Collaborate closely with detailers and technicians to ensure workflow efficiency.
