SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy Johannesburg North dealership.

The ideal candidate will be trade-tested, skilled in vehicle diagnostics and repairs, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced automotive environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a valid Trade Test
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles
Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume workshop
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a professional work ethic
Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
Conduct preventive maintenance checks to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
Complete repairs in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
Collaborate with workshop foreman and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
Stay updated with technical knowledge and industry developments
