Remuneration:
R15 000 – R22 000 Depending on experience in position + Pension + Funeral + Life Cover Benefits + Medical Aid
Purpose Of The Job:
 
Our Client is looking for a very strong General Ledger Clerk to join their Team! Duties will include posting expenses and payments, allocations from bank statement processed in the books etc.  This position will be at a centralized admin hub which looks after 27 of the group’s dealerships, thus the vacancy will entail looking after more than 1 branch’s books.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

• Maintaining records
• Reconcile Petty Cash received
• Process to General Ledger and Creditor Accounts
• Load Creditor Payments on the bank
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Payments for Workshop and Parts, need to be allocated
• Allocate payments
• Load payments on all banks (buy-ins, trade-ins, Settlements, Refunds, Workshop and Parts invoices and other monthly invoices)
• Floorplan Reconciliations
• Vehicle stock reconciliation _ bonnet checks
• Creating order numbers for Workshop and Parts supplies and consumables and stationery
• Follow up on all queries (Invoice for workshop and parts that are not processed documentation outstanding etc)
• Follow up on payments to be released on a specific date

• Minimum 3 years’ related experience in Automotive industry in the role of General Ledger Clerk
• Matric
• Automate / Evolve Experience ESSENTIAL!
• Attention to detail
• Computer literate – Word, Excel & Outlook
• Multi-tasking and Time Management skills
• Team player
• Driver’s License
• Motor Industry Experience ESSENTIAL!
