Matric certificate or N3 or equivalent
Code 14 Drivers License + Valid PDP
Must have previous mechanical experience- Non-negotiable
Minimum 2 years workshop experience with repairing and maintaining Commercial Trucks
Any other training attended will be advantageous

Job Description

The main responsibility of the Repair Shop Assistant is to perform high quality repairs and maintenance (to be taught technical competencies and a continuous improvement of the technical knowledge and skills combination)
Must have a commercial mindset in order to ensure high level performance and customer satisfaction
Follow defined processes, standards and guidelines
Work long hours and keen to learn from various journeymen
Perform Pre Deliver Checks on vehicles with high level of quality and timeous manner
Comply with the deadlines per job given

Move around within the company on as and when needed basis to learn other departments and skills
