Automotive Audio & 12V Technician - Gauteng, Pretoria East

Our client, a leading automotive fitment and accessory specialist is looking for a technically minded and detail-driven technician to join their growing team, specialising in vehicle audio systems, 12V accessories, and advanced fitment work on modern vehicles.

Remuneration:
R 15 000 – R 23 000 Per month depending on experience - Benefits include Provident Fund

POSITION INFO:
Duties

Installation of sound systems and automotive accessories
Fitment of spotlights, dual battery systems, compressors, fridges and related 12V accessories
Vehicle strip, reassembly and professional refitment work
Fault-finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting of automotive electrical systems
Ensuring neat, professional and high-quality installations at all times
Supporting workshop operations where required

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years automotive fitment experience
Strong automotive electrical and 12V system knowledge
Ability to perform neat wiring and precision installations
Fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Experience with CANBUS and modern vehicle electrical systems advantageous
4x4 accessory fitment experience advantageous
Automotive electrical qualification advantageous
Valid driver’s licence essential
Basic computer literacy required
Diagnostic software knowledge advantageous
Professional appearance and attitude
Reliable, technically strong and detail orientated
Team player with a strong customer service mindset
Ability to work under pressure in a workshop environment
