AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN INTERN
- Ficksburg, Free State
- Salary: R8,000 – R15,000
- Valid Driver’s License Required
- Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist with PLC programming & troubleshooting
- Perform electrical wiring & panel installations
- Support installation & commissioning of automation systems
- Test, inspect & maintain PLC‑controlled equipment
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams & PLC logic
- Assist with fault‑finding on electrical & automation systems
- Support preventative maintenance & improvement projects
- Maintain accurate documentation & programming records
WHAT YOU NEED
- National Diploma / Trade Certificate / Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Automation
- Or related field
- Basic PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider, Delta, Omron)
- Understanding of electrical control systems & instrumentation
- Ability to read electrical diagrams & technical drawings
- Strong communication & problem‑solving skills
- Valid SA driver’s license + own transport
