Automation Technician Intern

POSITION INFO:

Are you passionate about automation, electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial technology? Our client is looking for a motivated and technically minded Automation Technician Intern to join their team in Ficksburg, Free State.

The successful candidate will gain practical experience in the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems, while working alongside experienced technical professionals.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
National Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field
Basic knowledge of PLC programming
Understanding of electrical control systems and industrial instrumentation
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and PLC schematics
Good computer skills
Valid South African driver''s licence and own reliable transport
