Where You'll Make an Impact:

Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant equipment
Install, service, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, charging, ignition, and electronic control systems
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to minimise equipment downtime
Test and replace electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and wiring harnesses
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals accurately
Complete job cards, maintenance records, and inspection reports in line with safety standards
Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and safety

Requirements:

Qualified Auto Electrician with a recognised trade certificate
3–5 years' experience working on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience using diagnostic equipment and electrical testing tools
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

Familiarity with the following:

Electrical testing and diagnostic tools
Electrical schematics and technical manuals
