Minimum Qualifications Required:

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Auditing
• Completed SAICA Articles
• CA(SA) designation

• Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
• Proven people management and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• High level of professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
• Solid technical and academic background

Computer Proficiency:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• CaseWare
• Pastel
• Greatsoft (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities & Performance Indicators:

• Supervise and coordinate audit engagements and activities of trainee accountants
• Act as a liaison between clients, directors, and staff
• Conduct weekly staff briefings and performance evaluations
• Lead in planning, training, mentoring, and motivating team members
• Provide coaching and support to audit employees
• Review statutory audits and employee outputs
• Support systems development and business plan compilation
• Ensure full compliance with the firm’s System of Quality Management (SOQM)
• Adhere to the firm’s Employee Code of Conduct, including HR policies, SAICA, IRBA, and IESBA standards
