SUMMARY:

Are you an Audit and Independent Review Supervisor, able to manage the day-to-day operations of assurance engagements, and acting as a bridge between audit staff and partners?

You will be responsible for leading Engagement teams, reviewing working papers for compliance with professional standards (ISAs and IFRS), and ensuring that5 audits and independent reviews are completed within budget and deadlines.

This role requires deep, detailed verification and testing of transactions and high level analytical procedures and professional judgement rather than detailed verification, focusing on limited assurance.

POSITION INFO:

The Person:

B.Com Accounting / B.Compt or B.Com Honours.
Completed SAICA Articles is highly advantageous.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of post-article auditing experience with supervisory capacity.
Advanced proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Quality Control: Managing audit teams, overseeing work performed, mentoring trainee accountants, and conducting performance reviews.
Engagement Execution: Planning, executing, and finalising audits and independent reviews (IRs) within budgets and deadlines.
Technical Compliance: Ensuring financial statements, management accounts, and audit work comply with IFRS/GAAP and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
Client Liaison: Managing relationships, interacting with clients to resolve queries, and reporting findings to managers/partners.
