Au Pair (Part-time)
Our client, located in Pretoria East, is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy individual to provide attentive childcare in the afternoons and to be available for additional au pair duties if required.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric.
- Proven experience working with children (infants and toddlers).
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 12:30 – 16:15, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Supervise and ensure the safety of children during afternoon care.
- Monitor and respond to children’s emotional and physical needs.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring mealtimes are organised and hygienic.
- Promote and maintain proper hygiene, including changing nappies as required.
- Create and follow daily routines that support physical activity, rest, and play.
- Observe and report on developmental milestones or concerns relating to social, physical, or cognitive behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's routine, wellbeing, and progress.
- Maintain clean and organised areas for eating, resting, and activities.
- Submit monthly developmental programmes and progress reports.
