SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organised Association Manager to oversee association operations, including membership management, secretariat services, stakeholder communication, strategic planning, marketing and digital content updates. Working closely with volunteer committees, you will coordinate activities and ensure efficient service delivery. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, self-discipline and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.

Overall Responsibility: The Association Manager oversees all aspects of an association, including membership management,secretariat services, stakeholder communication, strategic planning, marketing, and digital content updates. They coordinate volunteer committees and ensure smooth operations under high-pressure conditions, requiring exceptional organization, accuracy,and self-discipline.
Main responsibilities:
Membership Management and Services
- Ensure smooth membership registration.
- Maintain and update the membership database.
- Address member inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Strategic Planning and Coordination- Support the development and execution of strategic plans.
- Coordinate activities and events according to board’s objectives.
- Manage timetables and schedules in alignment with the board.
Financial Oversight and Budgeting- Develop and manage the association’s budget.
- Monitor expenses and revenues, track sponsorship funds.
- Provide financial summaries and reports
Communication and Stakeholder Relations- Maintain communication with the executive committee.
- Foster relationships with members and external stakeholders.
- Communicate with regional and international bodies
Marketing and Promotion- Create and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain members.
- Ensure the “value for members” proposition is clearly communicated
Committee Management- Coordinate the logistics for committee meetings
- File resolutions with appropriate legal advisors.
- Take and maintain minutes during meetings as needed
Public Relations- Serve as the main point of contact for related regional and international associations.
- Communicate with key external bodies such as WHO, EU councils, etc.
Inter-Company Cooperation- Collaborate with other departments within the organization.
- Provide information and reports to management for decision-making.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Education:- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Association Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or CAE (Certified Association Executive) certification.
Work Experience:- Minimum: 3–5 years of experience in association management, membership services, or administrative roles within a professional organization.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience managing associations, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and financial oversight.
- Experience in using association management software, CRM systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Familiarity with website content management systems, digital marketing, and public relations strategies.
- Exposure to working with international bodies or regulatory organizations is a plus

Stakeholder & Volunteer Management – Strong relationship management with board members, volunteers, committees, and industry professionals.
Marketing & Branding Awareness – Familiarity with membership recruitment strategies, social media management, and digital content creation.
Public Relations & Industry Engagement – Ability to liaise with regional and international organizations, ensuring professional representation.
