Associate - Private Capital

POSITION INFO:

We're looking for an Associate – Private Capital to join our Alternative Asset Management team. In this role, you'll support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of private capital investments across a diverse portfolio. Working alongside experienced investment professionals, you'll perform financial analysis, build investment models, conduct due diligence, monitor portfolio performance, and contribute to delivering strong investment outcomes.

What You'll Do

Support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of investment opportunities.
Build financial models, perform valuations, and analyse investment performance.
Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence.
Prepare investment papers, reports, and recommendations for approval.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and support asset management initiatives.
Assist with distressed asset management and recovery strategies where required.
Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Stay informed on market trends and identify new investment opportunities.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investment Management, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Property Studies, or a related field.
3–5 years' experience in private credit, investment management, structured finance, corporate finance, property finance, banking, or a related environment.
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail.
