Position: Assistant Housekeeper
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeper to join our professional housekeeping team. The successful candidate will support the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Supervise housekeeping staff in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet 5-star standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and feedback.
- Monitor housekeeping inventories and assist with stock control.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Be available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as part of a flexible roster.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role, ideally in a 5-star hotel environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, guest-focused approach to service.
- Ability to work shifts and weekends is essential.
