SUMMARY:
Our client in the Northam area requires the services of a Assistant Underground Project Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
* Valid blasting certificate
* Medically fit to work underground
* Previous civil experience
* Computer literacy MS Projects essential
* Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities would be:
* Assisting project manager:
- Support the project manager in planning, coordinating and executing underground projects
* Worker management:
- Help manage workers, including assigning tasks, tracking progress and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
* Materials and Equipment:
- Planning assist in planning and coordinating the delivery and use of materials and equipment
* Communication:
- Facilitate communication between projects stakeholders, including workers, contractors, and suppliers
* Risk Management:
- Assist in identifying and mitigation potential risks and hazards on the project site
* Quality control:
- Help ensure that project work meets quality standards and specifications
* Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including progress reports and incidents reports and meeting minutes.
