SUMMARY:
Job purpose: 
Prepare the short-term supply plans across the hubs/depots in order to maximize customer service while optimizing storage and transport capacity. This will include working closely with the Supply Planners and Operations Management to proactively ensure that there are no interruptions of supply

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Degree or Supply Chain Diploma (e.g. SAPICS)
  • 2 to 3 years Operational experience within any Planning function 
  • SAP, ADEXA and MS Office essential 
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on numbers for long periods
  • Sound judgment using available data
  • Ability to count inventory and sometimes move heavy objects while monitoring and managing the current inventory
  • Keeping track of the company's current inventory
    Analyzing the data that is available from demand planning, inventory reports, and other resources, Making recommendations for how the company handles inventory
    Anticipating factors that could influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or upcoming promotions 
    Managing the storage of inventory and materials, keeping enough inventory to meet demand without overstocking
    Working together with members of the operations, production, and other supply chain department teams to 
    Negotiate with vendors and suppliers
