SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to support the overall operations and performance of our store. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will also be involved in inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining store standards. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS:

Matric or equivalent qualification.
5–8 years of retail management experience.
Must have own reliable transport.
Strong full-store management background.
Ability to perform cash-ups, manage orders, and handle store accounting (Excel proficiency required).
FMCG experience is essential.
Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
Strong administrative and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage stock and store assets effectively.
Handle daily responsibilities that come with managing a store.
Ensure effective and efficient customer service.
Oversee the layout and visual merchandising of the store.
Responsible for store administration, including reporting and staff management.
Deal with customer queries in a professional manner.
Maintain high store standards.
