Assistant Restaurant Manager

SUMMARY:
Breakfast sets the tone for the day, and at The President Hotel, with 349 rooms and high guest volumes, it is one of our busiest daily services.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager – Breakfast who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team and keeping service running smoothly in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.

POSITION INFO:
This is a hands-on Food & Beverage leadership role. You will support the Restaurant Manager with the daily breakfast operation, lead and coordinate the restaurant team, manage guest and service flow, work closely with the Kitchen, monitor buffet and restaurant standards, engage with guests and step in wherever needed during busy periods.

You will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant supervisory or junior management role within a busy, high-volume hospitality environment. Previous 4-star or 5-star hotel restaurant experience is highly advantageous, while experience managing or supervising a high-volume hotel breakfast service will make you stand out.

Strong restaurant floor management, team leadership and guest relations skills are essential. You should be confident conducting pre-service briefings, allocating sections, managing busy service periods, handling guest complaints and service recovery, and maintaining high Food & Beverage, food safety and hygiene standards.

Experience with Micros Simphony or a similar restaurant POS system will be advantageous, together with a good understanding of stock control, breakages, wastage and restaurant operating procedures.

This is an early-morning operational position, and you must be comfortable working breakfast shifts, weekends and public holidays. Reliable transport for early-morning shifts is essential.
