An exciting opportunity has become available for a disciplined and motivated individual to join the team at the team, a well-established operation in the forestry propagation industry.
We are looking for a hands-on team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture and plant production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee forestry seedling and cutting propagation activities
- Manage growing operations including irrigation, spraying, and general plant care
- Perform quality control checks, weekly stock reporting, and germination assessments
- Manage order dispatch and coordinate the loading of delivery vehicles
- Oversee maintenance activities within the operation
Requirements:
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking individual willing to “get their hands dirty”
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Fluent in both English and Zulu
- Keen interest in agriculture and plant production
- Advantageous: Horticulture qualification and relevant industry experience
