SUMMARY:
Our client in the automotive sector seeks to employ an Assistant Metrologist to join their Quality department. Position based in Gqeberha.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Measuring programs development for measurement of new and existing products.
Provide effective feedback to all relevant departments if dimensional deviation or defects identified.
Prepare PPAP/ISIR documentation according to customer requirements.
Participate in FMEA meetings and Control Plan meetings.
Support with conduct of routine testing and product audits.
Maintain calibration status of all existing gauges and instruments.
Capability studies as part of investigations, assist with investigations not meeting requirements.
Maintain relevant filing systems (including drawings and measurement reports , registers and issue levels).

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Quality etc. preferred
Minimum Matric with Maths and Science
Quality specific training in VDA6.3, ISO9001, IATF16949
Minimum 5 years' experience in a factory environment
