SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:
Responsible to assist manager to manage and oversee outlet personnel, supervising outlet operations, and ensuring efficient operations on a day-to-day basis. Improving efficiencies and streamlining outlet activities to maximize financial and other key indicators to achieve peak performance levels.

POSITION INFO:
Position available for an Assistant Manager to join the team in Fourways.

Qualifications and or Experience:Â

Matric Certificate (with maths literacy minimum). Additional related courses/qualifications and advantage.
At least 5 â 8 yearsâ experience in a similar management role within the motor industry
Sound Technical knowledge and understandingÂ
Experience in motor part sales
Experience of managing Profit & Loss, balance sheet and associated financial responsibilities.
Understanding of procurement
Understanding of ISO 9001/ 45001 or relevant quality management system
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with stock management
Sales and customer interaction experience

General Tasks:

Provide superior customer serviceÂ levels that exceed customerÂ expectations while staying in line withÂ Company policies and procedures
Ensure that daily, weekly and monthlyÂ targets are being met
Adhere to high ethical standards, andÂ comply with all regulations/Â applicable laws
Interacting with customers on aÂ regular basis to ensure satisfactionÂ and gain useful feedback
Resolving customer problems andÂ queries as needed
Manage warranty claims and assistÂ the customer, salesman and QCÂ department throughout the process
Managing of all purchase orders andÂ resolve any discrepancy for purchasesÂ on orders/ parts.
Responsible for managing the ordersÂ system âWOMâ.
Responsible for managing the storeÂ and the stock levels on the âVISIONâÂ system.
Management of daily sales figuresÂ
Overseeing stock delivery from DC
Assessing market conditions andÂ realign business strategy accordingly
Lead, develop and implement variable cost programmes across all areas of responsibility.
