Assistant Manager: Compilation Department - George - Western Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client - an Accounting firm - based in George is looking to employ an Assistant Manager: Compilation Department.

Requirements:

Must be able to work under pressure
Knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SME’s
Must be accurate
MS Office
VAT & Income tax knowledge
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Degree in Financial Accounting
Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles
Caseware experience
Sage / Xero experience

Responsibilities:

Take responsible for a client portfolio
Compilation of Financial Statements
Provisional and Income Tax Calculations
On-the-job training for trainee accountants
Deadline driven and ensure that the objectives are met
Self-motivation, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, teamworking and
interpersonal skills
Detail reviews of the team’s work performed
