JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client - an Accounting firm - based in George is looking to employ an Assistant Manager: Compilation Department.

Requirements: 
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SME’s
  • Must be accurate
  • MS Office
  • VAT & Income tax knowledge
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Degree in Financial Accounting
  • Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles
  • Caseware experience
  • Sage / Xero experience
Responsibilities:
  • Take responsible for a client portfolio
  •  Compilation of Financial Statements 
  •  Provisional and Income Tax Calculations 
  •  On-the-job training for trainee accountants
  •  Deadline driven and ensure that the objectives are met
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, teamworking and 
    interpersonal skills
  •  Detail reviews of the team’s work performed
