SUMMARY:
A luxury collection of camps across Namibia is seeking an experienced ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER to join their leadership team.

POSITION INFO:
Each camp is deliberately small and exclusive, typically hosting no more than a handful of guests at a time, with a strong emphasis on low-impact tourism, community partnerships, and wildlife conservation. The settings include some of the most remote and dramatically beautiful landscapes in southern Africa.

Core Criteria:

Proven experience in a management role within a luxury lodge or remote camp environment
Strong leadership and staff management ability
Solid grasp of front-of-house operations, guest relations and hospitality standards
Experience with stock control, admin and basic financial oversight
Comfortable living and working in remote, off-grid locations
Flexible and willing to relocate to any of the group's Namibian camps as required
Excellent communication skills, both with guests and staff
Calm, resourceful and able to problem-solve under pressure

Core Responsibilities:

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily camp operations
Manage and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff
Maintain guest service standards across all touchpoints
Oversee stock control, ordering and basic financial administration
Step into a leadership role in the GM's absence
Ensure smooth coordination between departments (kitchen, housekeeping, guiding, maintenance)
Uphold health, safety and hygiene standards throughout the camp
Assist with training and development of junior staff

Package:

Live-in position with accommodation, meals and uniform provided
Provident Fund contribution
6/2 work cycle
