SUMMARY:
To assist in the design, development and implementation of the directorate’s policies and programmes in relation to employee health and wellness and also the initiatives on internal gender and disability programmeTo design, develop and implement unit's policies and programmes

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Provide input in the design and development of the programme.
  • Management and coordination of health and wellness events
  • Conduct desktop  research on best practice for input into policies.
  • Provide secretarial support for the Healthcare and Wellness  Support Committee.
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of decision reached by the committee
  • Coordinate education and awareness on sexual harassment in the department
  • Provide support in raising awareness on disability and gender issues to create a gender and disability friendly environment that respond to the needs of employees.
  • Provide support in compiling administrative reports, statutory  plans, reports, etc., implement internal controls, updating risk  register and drafting of response to clients based on the requests received.
  • Presentation on Batho Pele to create awareness.
  • Administer and implement the Department’s Batho Pele action plan.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • NQF level 6 qualification in Social Sciences / Industrial Psychology
  • 2 years’ experience in the implementation of health and
  • wellness programmes and provision of counselling.
  • A valid driver’s license
