POSITION INFO:

Join our client, an Award Winning Digital Marketing Agency who can also boast being a Google Premier Partner!
 
They are on the hunt for an Assistant Copy Manager to join their amazing team based in Pretoria!  
Client is a Certified Google Premier Partner and is widely seen as an industry leading digital agency. Duties include supporting the agency''s Copy Manager in various tasks, primarily in overseeing the creation of content for SEO and blog purposes, editing and copy checking the content, and liaising with the team of writers as necessary.


You will be assisting your direct line of reporting and be responsible for:


-           Managing a team of copy editors and copywriters.
-           Managing outsourced content generation when required.
-           Tracking progress of content as written by copywriters, to ensure that deadlines are
            met
-           Scheduling keywords with a select few clients and follow up on content approval
-           Assigning specific client copy to Copy Editor(s)
-           Administering copywriters’ invoices
-           Administering editors’ invoices
-           Communicating with clients where necessary should they be unhappy with the quality of content, to ensure client satisfaction
-           Acting as a liaison between the copywriters and the Company’s employees
-           Acting as a liaison between the copywriters and clients
-           Creating monthly keyword schedules, ensuring that the right amount of copy is scheduled for each client
-           Ensuring that all articles match the style and tone of voice of each client
-           Checking spelling, grammar and punctuation of content produced by copywriters
-           Checking that the articles’ facts are correct
-           Checking for plagiarism
-           Translating content when requested
-           Writing and/or editing in-house content, such as contracts, newsletters, letters/emails to clients, and so on
-           Actively researching industry news and trends, and ensure that this information is effectively distributed amongst the team(s)
-           Writing & editing of copy for clients
-           Writing & editing of internal copy
