Assistant Accountant with SYSPRO experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assistant Accountant (POS306)

Port Elizabeth

R 350 000 per annum

Requirements

Relevant Degree or Diploma
Must have experience as an accountant
Experience in Automotive industry will be an advantage
Computer literate in MS Office and SYSPRO

Responsibilities:

· Daily cash forecasts for all group entities.
· Maintaining all group entities cash books.
· Bank reconciliations for all group entities.
· Processing and authorizing all payments.
· Responsible for all foreign payments and forward exchange cover contracts.
· All group entities PAYE and VAT submissions and returns.
· All group entities Returns of Earnings submissions for WCA
· Responsible for group entities Insurance claims
· Overseeing Debtors and Creditors.
· Maintaining General Ledger Reconciliations for 3 group entities.
· Responsible for reconciliations of 2 group entities company cell phone accounts.
· Responsible for preparation of all entities cash books paperwork archiving boxes for transfer to Metrofile.
· Responsible for all financial year end functions for the groups cash books.
· Other ad hoc duties as required.
· Compiling monthly management accounts for Engineering division.
· Compiling budgets and forecasts for Engineering division.
· Maintaining Engineering division’s Fixed Assets register.
· Responsible for Engineering division Insurance declarations.
· Responsible for all financial year end functions for Engineering division
