Assistant Accountant

In this role, you will be working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner assisting with project cost reconciliations, invoice preparations, and will be supporting the financial reporting processes. POSITION INFO:

This position includes:
Ensuring alignment of budget allocations and project activities
Tracking and reporting on project expenses
Ensuring supporting documentation is complete and compliant
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
Liaising with project managers and relevant staff to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
Supporting external and internal audits
Maintaining organized filing systems for financial and administrative records
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting support role
Exposure to project finance (advantageous)
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar)
Detailed-orientated
Strong accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation
Good organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
 
Qualification:
B.Com Accounting or similar
Completed Articles (advantageous)
