Assessor (Independent contractor) LCD001

The Faculty of Humanities is looking to expand their adjunct faculty members (independent contractor) for the Bachelor of Arts in Disaster and Safety Management programme.

 

Subject areas:

We are looking for subject experts particularly in the following areas:

 

Occupational Health and Safety

Disaster and Safety Management

Construction Safety

Incident Management

Mine Safety

Crowd Management

 

Educational Requirements:
Ideally master’s degree / Honours Degree in a cognate field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in higher education would be an advantage
Experience and expertise in the field


Duties:
Conduct study material review
Setting of assignments and examination papers
Marking of assignments and examination papers
Module and curriculum development in conjunction with the head of faculty
Quality control / WIL knowledge and background would be advantageous
