About Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join a manufacturing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assembling components, performing quality checks, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and assemble components accurately and efficiently.

• Perform quality measurements using relevant measuring tools.

• Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Conduct quality checks and report any deviations immediately.

• Identify assembly challenges and assist with implementing solutions.

• Move stock and stack pallets according to the required configuration.

• Load raw materials into hoppers.

• Maintain excellent housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area.

• Adhere strictly to security and privacy protocols.

• Meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality.

• Work overtime and shifts when required.

• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or higher

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a plastics manufacturing environment

• Strong numerical and measurement skills.

• Good literacy and communication skills.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.

• Ability to handle plastic components safely.

• Willingness to work shifts and overtime.

Inherent Requirements

• No criminal record.

• Must pass an assessment and practical test.

• No colour vision deficiencies.

• 20/20 vision.

• Must be punctual, disciplined, reliable, and committed to meeting production targets.
