Our client is looking for Artisan (Fine Jewellery/Resin) to join their team in Johannesburg
POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities
Assemble and manufacture products using precision handcraft techniques.
Perform resin casting, mould preparation, and finishing where applicable.
Carry out fine soldering and electronics assembly tasks.
Perform light sewing and other detailed assembly work when required.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and workstations.
Follow production procedures, technical instructions, and safety standards.
Assist with general workshop and production activities as required.
Experience in jewellery manufacturing, jewellery repair, or precious metal fabrication.
Background in arts and crafts, model making, or other precision handcrafts.
Experience working with resin, epoxy, catalysts, moulds, or casting processes would be advantageous.
Experience with fine assembly work requiring excellent manual dexterity.
Exposure to soldering, electronics assembly, or small component manufacturing is beneficial.
Experience with sewing, upholstery, or textile-based assembly would be advantageous for certain production tasks.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment producing high-quality, detailed products.
