Artisan Assistant

SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ an Artisan Assistant to join their dynamic team in East London.

POSITION INFO:
Job Responsibilities: 

• Assist with, repair and maintain press machinery to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
• Assist with and do preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction.
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to the Team Leader.
• Ensure that company procedures, work instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times.
• Participate actively in the departmental mini business as per company requirement.
• Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and work instructions.

• Grade 12
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Fitter assistant within an automotive environment

• Technical techniques
• Press machinery repair and maintenance
• Manufacturing processes
• Basic understanding of quality systems
• Basic Welding
