SUMMARY:
Area Manager- Sales & Marketing

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the position:

Ensure effective services are rendered to the Clients, through the effective Management of subordinates/field teams while optimising on growth of market share within each retail group and minimizing of overall waste.

Preferred Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Driver''s Licence
• Business degree or diploma
• Short course diploma’s in FMCG industry
• Management/Supervisory Training
• 5 Years sales experience in a FMCG (sales and marketing role)
• 2 Years plus Management/Supervisory experience FMCG environment (sales management role)

Knowledge

• Knowledge of and Insight into principles of sales and marketing (specific FMCG/retail)
• Knowledge of Point of purchase/service standards and practices required by retail groups for
• Perishable products
• Understanding of/insight into FMCG retail trade trends in SA (specific Dairy)
• Administration and management

Skills

• Ability to market ideas and identify new markets.
• Ability Identify competitors and develop policies and procedures in order to obtain leading market edge
