Area Manager

SUMMARY:
We are assisting in recruiting for our client for a Area manager that will lead, motivate, and develop a team of store managers to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations, staffing, and performance for the stores within the assigned area.
• Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence by setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Recruit, train, and develop store managers and staff to ensure operational success and promote a positive working culture.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor financial performance and budget adherence, recommending adjustments where necessary.
• Handle customer escalations and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Implement strategies for inventory management, merchandising, and local marketing efforts to increase store visibility and sales.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in retail management, with a strong background in multi-site management or area management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Flexibility to travel between locations and stay over as needed
