App Support - Tech Support

POSITION INFO:

Our Client is a leading global provider of infographics for business presentations. As a top-5 industry leader, we leverage state of the art technologies to stay ahead of our competition. We therefore invest heavily in our innovative processes and our invaluable staff.

To extend our in-house development and support team in Cape Town, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled.

Duties & roles

·         Work as part of our support team providing 2nd and 3rd level support to users of our in-house applications.

·         Troubleshoot and establish the root causes of the reported problems.

·         Capture the relevant details of issues identified on our bug tracking system.

·         Collaborate closely with our software development team.

·         Document processes and compile user manuals

Requirements

·         Demonstrable experience as an application support

·         Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors.

·         Basic knowledge of .Net programming languages

·         Some background in MS SQL to write basic queries.

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Investigation and diagnostic skills
