Air and Sea Freight Imports Forwarding Clerk x 3 Positions

SUMMARY:
We are urgently looking for 3 Air and Sea Freight Imports Clerks for a Global Logistics Specialist Based in Durban.

POSITION INFO:

Area: Durban

Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited to):

• Receive customer’s indent / order
• Captures indent on Cargowise ( working experience of cargo wise will be beneficial)
• Makes arrangement with agent to collect order once ready
• Obtains sailing / flight details from agent
• Updates customer ident via Cargo Wise and informs customer of status
• Checks documents, once received from agent, against original indent
• Updates indent via Cargo wise 
• Registers file and sends documents to operations
• Monitors progress and updates customer
• Updates customer on Delivery – status report  / telephonically. Must be able to communicate well with customers.
• Closes Order once delivered
