POSITION INFO:
This role supports the Product Support team and technicians by ensuring best management practices are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting performance criteria
- Achieving service delivery objectives.
- Following procedures and promoting a customer-focused service.
- Implementing and maintaining actions aligned with the company's strategic vision.
- Schedule, plan, and communicate the technician’s service activity to relevant staff member(s) and customers.
- Assigning of technicians to attend to services, breakdowns, engineering, spray booth, and booking of all jobs on mobile tech.
- Following up on all WIP jobs in progress, daily
- Follow up daily on all work-in-progress (WIP) jobs.
- Handle customer calls, complaints, and queries, ensuring they are addressed and communicated back to customers.
- Plan and arrange for machines to be brought to the workshop, assign technicians, and oversee the process until the machine is delivered.
- Coordinate with internal customers, as well as the New and Used Sales and Rental departments.
- Compile a monthly sustainability report.
- Invoice completed jobs within three working days, ensuring jobs are opened and closed according to company standards, with accuracy and timeliness.
- Submitting of tax invoices and job cards to customers for chargeable & maintenance work
- Preparing quotations, submitting, following up with the customers, and submitting to Product Support follow up on order numbers.
Must have requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric and 3 years of relevant experience.
- A National Diploma in Business Management is an advantage.
- Advanced / expert computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience working closely with technicians within an automotive industry or material handling or logistics industry or similar.
- Maintaining and updating information in the database.
- Excellent communication skills.
