ADVANCED SOMATOLOGIST

STELLENBOSCH - Cape Winelands, Western-Cape (South Africa)

START: A.S.A.P / 01 June 2025

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm
• Alternating Saturday 08:00am - 15:00pm
• Closed on all major public holidays

REPORTS TO: Manager / Owner

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R10,000 Basic per month
• Service Commission upon meeting 
• Retail Commission

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
2. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Somatology obtained
3. LASER HR & SR trained / experienced
4. BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
5. Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
6. Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
7. Able to work independently - you will work with a small team and run your own column with our established clientele
8. Based within Stellenbosch or within reasonable travel distance

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 3+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad)
2. high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
3. Experience working with active ingredients
4. Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments preferred
5. LASER hair removal & skin rejuvenation experienced
6. Able to perform standard beauty services

• Skin Pen / Nano-needling / Derma Pen
• Chemical Peels
• Gel Polish Application 
• Manicure & Pedicure
• Waxing including Hollywood & Brazilian
• Tinting & Shaping
• Massage

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
2. Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments 
3. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly (sales & retail confident)
4. Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
5. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision -
