SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering Industry, has an opportunity available for an Administrator Inventory to be based in the Benoni area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Matric / N3 / National Vocational / Technical Certificate with mathematics or mathematics literacy
  • A diploma in Warehousing, Inventory, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field of study
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in:
    1. A parts sales/warehouse environment is essential,
    2. Internal sales &/or parts experience, including parts identification,
    3. Experience in warehouse duties essential
  • Experience in loading and processing inventory transactions on an accounting system is advantageous
  • Excellent computer literacy skills in Microsoft and Excel
KPAs:
  • Attend to and fulfilment of customer parts orders
  • Ensuring all outbound deliveries are correctly and accurately despatched to customers with correct waybill documents and waybill register.
  • Accurate and efficient issuing of all Pre-delivery inspection kits (i.e.  PDI requirements) from Parts Distribution centre (PDC) warehouse for new truck sales requirements prior to sale and delivery
  • Accurately identify, record and report customer’s current, short, medium and long term needs for quotation, and to promote the sales of Parts.
  • Actively interact with necessary technical, commercial and sales personnel in order to ensure that quotations are accurate and that client receives excellent service
  • Assist  and provide inputs into Placing and tracking of daily parts orders from DAF PDC and other suppliers
  • Conduct Stock taking as and when necessary
