POSITION INFO:

Administrator

Location: Woodmead, Johannesburg

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrator to support the day-to-day office functions and operational branch activities. This role requires strong organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines while assisting with clerical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Administration – manage fuel/toll slips, mileage logs, licence renewals, inspection sheets, and compliance records

• Administration – handle timesheets, operational reports, compliance records, staff inductions, training records, and disciplinary administration

• Reporting – compile incident reports, maintain records, and provide weekly summaries for management

• Orders & Payments – manage stationery, consumables, requisitions, payment requests, travel claims, and expense records

• Payroll & ESS – maintain attendance, leave, payroll records, assist with ESS queries, and process resignations

• Personnel Files – maintain confidential employee records, compliance documentation, and conduct audits

• Firearm Management – update firearm registers, permits, inspection reports, and compliance documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF Level 4)

• Minimum 2 years’ proven administration experience

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite

• Payroll, administration, or HR qualification advantageous

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Customer orientation and attention to detail

• Fluent in English

Employment Details:

• Working hours: 08:00 – 16:00

• Reporting line: Area Manager

• Remuneration: As per agreement
