We are inviting powerhouse Administrative Officer 1 candidates with up to 5 years of experience to connect with us for possible temporary positions at a local municipality.

Who We Want to Meet
An Administrative Officer 1 who meets the following criteria:

Citizenship: Must be a South African Citizen with a valid South African Identity Document.

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12. Computer literacy. Up to 5 years’ relevant experience.

Descriptors: Specialised knowledge of administrative processes and procedures within an area.

Core Functions / Characteristics:

Provides guidance and advice to staff.
Quality controls work produced by the section.
Supervises and allocate work.
Trains junior staff.
Enhances procedures and processes.
Develops and performance manages staff.
Deals with more complex and problematic customers/clients and queries.
Typically, can supervise up to 5 clerks.
Performs complex or specialised administrative functions.
