SUMMARY:
POSITION: Administrative Support & Bookkeeper
Location: Durbanville, Cape Town

An international packaging group is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic team at their Durbanville office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a multifaceted role and enjoys contributing to the smooth operation of a professional office environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the team
Perform daily administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow up on outstanding matters
Process financial transactions up to Trial Balance level
Manage debtors and creditors functions efficiently
Assist in audit preparation and planning activities
Support inventory and stock control processes
Prepare and track expense reports
Ensure all compliance documentation is up to date and correctly filed
Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and service providers
Provide administrative support to the Sales Team

Candidate Requirements

A relevant qualification in administration, bookkeeping, or accounting (advantageous)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical work style
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., reporting and data analysis)
Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and perform under pressure
Eagerness to learn and contribute as part of a collaborative team
