Administration Manager, East London

SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Administration Manager for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Grade 12 with relevant Degree / Diploma in Social Science
• Valid drivers license, good computer literacy and networking skills
• 3+ years relevant work experience in a similar role

• Ensure all legislative requirements are met
• Ensure all admin duties are optimally performed and ensure record management
• General office administration and secretariat role for meetings
• Prepare annual business plans, and develop, implement, and monitor policies
• Supervision of employees
• Finance / assets – ensure budget prepared, asset & inventory management, obtain approval for asset disposal, ensure AFS timelines are met, manage donations and debt management
• Funding / fundraising – management of fundraising and development of plan, ensure external funding submission are prepared and submitted, solicit new funding
• Marketing of the center – social media, media articles and bringing in of new projects
• Payroll management – Monthly payslips, payroll file maintenance, ensure IRP5 submission
• Policies – annal review and implementation of policies and guidelines
• Reporting – monthly ManCo and minutes of all meetings
• Ensure discipline is maintained
• OH&S – develop evacuation plan and conduct evacuation exercises
• Act as Commissioner of Oaths (ensure accreditation is obtained)
