SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Administration Assistant

Stipend: R6,500

Location: Gauteng (Edenvale)

POSITION INFO:
About the role
The Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by handling a variety of tasks that support management and staff.

Responsibilities

Record keeping all of customer orders.
Preparation of daily Delivery & Collection schedule.
Management of office supplies.
Be personable and able to work well with a variety of individuals within the organization.
Record-keeping of POD’s.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Assistance in compiling the monthly Supplier Payment List.
Act as the point of contact and communication link between departments and individual.
Maintenance of the filing system.
Drafting & distribution of Customer payment letters on a monthly basis.
Follow up with Customers on Overdue invoices/payments.
Main point of contact for communication with security at the gate.
Assisting the operational team with documentation (current COA’s for products).
Making of all types of labels used.
Minute taking at Meetings, when required.
Adhoc duties.

Minimum Requirements

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
Matric.
